You could just post your student work to your class website,
but do you really want them to have access to all of your files?
Probably not!
ON A BLOG-- You can display student work or pose students questions,
and they can comment.
As a teacher or creator of the blog, you can MODERATE their comments-- edit or censor
their work-- as needed. (Of course, setting clear behavioral
guidelines for appropriate written speech is important here,
as much or even moreso than in the classroom.)
